Snapchat is way too excited to celebrate the festival of lights which led it to announce a bunch of features. Snapchatters have a lot to explore with every tab offering something related to Diwali. The Spotlight section which is the video platform is encouraging creators by hosting a #LightUpSpotlight event. Users are motivated to record and share dance videos, outfits, and other Diwali-themed videos.

While the Chat tab could be used to wish family and friends using the newly introduced festive-themed cameo stickers and Bitmoji, the Maps tab is getting new action ‘mojis, diyas, lights, and lanterns.

Camera tab
The Camera tab which is the first tab to fire up when the app is opened has plenty of Diwali-themed geo-filters and AR lenses that go perfectly well with the festivities.
AR lens to give a makeover
An AR lens even allows you to give a nice makeover to your local sweet shops. Give the local sweet shops a décor by using floral décor, virtual firecrackers, and diyas. Then go ahead and share the same to support them.
Phone swap trailer launch
Snapchat would be dropping the trailer of Phone Swap Season 2 and Season 3. This is a popular show where two people on a blind date exchange their phones to learn about each other. Thereafter, they decide whether or not a second date is on the card.
