Xiaomi India has taken a great step toward helping its elderly users. The company has launched specialized at-home smartphone support services for them. This is definitely a way to strengthen Xiaomi’s commitment to its fans and users.
Steps to follow
People need to follow a few steps to avail of the services. They need to scan a QR Code depending on the service needed and then fill in their details for the next set of actions. Once the details are submitted, a service representative from Xiaomi would contact the customer. He would verify the required type of service and check the pin code for eligibility. Once it is done, a service representative shall be at the customer’s residence at the earliest.
Understandably, some senior citizens may not follow the process mentioned above. Thus, they can call 1800 103 6286 or WhatsApp at 8861826286 to raise a request.

By offering a limited period free of cost at-home service, we want to encourage our users to stay better connected with our teams and enable us to deliver a smooth service. We will continue to align our efforts in making our services accessible to a larger network of customers in the coming years.”
Availability
It is to be noted that the service is available for free for senior citizens residing within a 20 km radius of one of their service centers. Other people who would like to avail of this service need to pay Rs. 249 plus taxes. Initially, the support would be extended to people living in these 15 cities- Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Pune, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Noida, Indore, and Hyderabad.
