Yes, you can Edit that Silly Whatsapp Message Soon

WhatsApp is set to launch an all-new feature that would allow iPhone app users to edit their messages. The edit option will work even after the messages have been sent over the chatting platform. Earlier when the iOS platform was introduced Apple has brought on the iMessage feature to edit messages or even undo send for messages.

Inside details on the new feature

In order to edit any messages sent, you will have to tap on and then hold on the chat bubble. Then, you have to select the Edit option. As per reports on WaBetaInfo, users may expect to edit any sent message within 15 minutes of having sent it.  This is the same duration available on Apple’s iMessage for editing sent messages. For Telegram, this duration of edit is 48 hours. Whatsapp is not officially committed to releasing the editing of sent messages feature on a fixed date.

However, the WhatsApp group of beta testers will be among the first to have access to the same. When it comes to more Meta developments, the chatting app is about to experiment with sending private newsletters. Sources have reported the latest code in at least a beta version for Android with highlights on such a feature.
