For dogs, everything is a tasty treat! Recently a puppy in Willerby swallowed his owner’s Apple AirPods. The golden retriever was rushed to the hospital where the vets performed successful surgery and were able to get the AirPods out. Astonishingly, the AirPods work just fine! To everyone’s surprise, there wasn’t a single scratch or a tooth mark on the device and even the charging light was still on.
It is important to know what’s to be done if your pet accidentally eats or chews on your Apple AirPods. The first and foremost thing to do is contact your vet. If your dog does not show any signs of distress or illness, ask your vet to give you advice over the phone. If your dog has stopped eating, become lethargic, vomits, or show other signs of distress, take him in to see your vet.
