After so much hullabaloo over Uber and Ola cancellations plus sky high rates, the Bengaluru Auto Rickshaw Driver’s Union has come up their own app for transport.

This intends to offer customers decent prices unlike giants, Ola and Uber. The app already saw 1000 downloads before it even launched officially. Rapido, Ola and Uber have finally found this tough contender called the Namma Yatri.
The indigenous app is now being promoted as an alternative to those harrowing apps that promise more than they can actually offer. The aggregators need to either up their game or down their pricing.

The new app has emerged as a highly popular tool in the capital city. This app seems to be inspired by type recent success of a similar app called Yatri in Kochi, Kerala. The interface too seems similar and in absence of any aggregator commission, the price point too seems fair enough.
