Nothing Phone 2 is launched globally and in India on 11th July 2023. The base model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The advanced model is available with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. There is one in between as well with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Upgrades, pricing, and availability
The new device comes with design and hardware upgrades from its predecessor. The upgrades include increased battery life, better cameras, and enhanced day-to-day performance.
Nothing Phone 2 targets premium buyers while Phone 1 focuses on people with a tight budget. While Nothing Phone 1 is available for around Rs. 32000, Nothing Phone 2 starts at Rs. 44,999 and goes up to Rs. 54,999. The device would be available for purchase on Flipkart and other selected outlets from 21st July 2023.
Features and specifications
The phone gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with Adreno 730 GPU under the hood. The processor upgrade shall give an 80% boost in the performance of Nothing Phone 2 as compared to Phone 1.
The phone boasts a huge 50MP primary camera. It has a Sony IMX890 sensor, an aperture of f/1.88, and a sensor size of 1/1.56-inch. It includes a 32 MP front camera with a Sony IMX615 sensor. The primary sensor comes with OIS support, EIS, along with other features such as Super-res Zoom, Motion Photo, Expert mode, Document mode, and AI scene detection.
Phone 2 has a 4700 mAh battery with 45W PPS charging and a Type C port. The phone gets completely charged in 55 minutes. The device received a Glyph interface as a part of the upgrade.
Nothing 2 runs on the latest NothingOS 2.0 which is based on Android 13 OS.It has a 6.7-inch display and 1080-2412 resolution with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. There is an optical in-display fingerprint sensor that functions aptly.

Pre-order and offers
People who buy a pre-order pass would be able to select their variant. They can also place their order between 11th July 2023 from 9 PM and 20th July 2023 till 11:59 PM on Flipkart. There would be additional offers and discounts available on the purchase of the device. For instance, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank credit and debit card users shall get an instant discount of Rs. 3000.
