1. Retrieve the Wi-Fi password of the connected network on the phone which is not saved
- Open the Settings app on your phone
- Find and click on the Connections option
- Select the Wi-Fi settings from the list
- To check the password, click on the name of the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to
- Hit the QR code icon
- Take a screenshot of the code or Scan it directly using another device
2. Check the hotspot password of an Android smartphone
- Open the Settings app of the device
- Click on the Wireless & networks options
- Find and select the Tethering & portable hotspot option
- Click on Portable Wi-Fi hotspot
- Open the Configure hotspot
- View the password by tapping on the password viewer icon
3. See saved Wi-Fi password on Android
- Swipe down the status bar on your device
- Long press on the Wi-Fi logo to go to Internet settings
- Click on the ellipsis menu at the top right
- Go to Wi-Fi settings
- Click on Saved networks
- Click the Wi-Fi network to view the password
4. View the Wi-Fi password from the router setting
- Open Wi-Fi settings on your device
- Click on the Wi-Fi network you are connected to currently
- Find the IP address
- Enter the IP address in the search bar of your browser
- Feed the Wi-Fi credentials for the router
- The password should be under the Wi-Fi name which you can access from the Wi-Fi settings found on the home screen of the router
