How to cancel movie tickets on Paytm?
- Open the Paytm app on your device
- Click on the ellipsis menu
- Choose Orders & Bookings from the available options
- Click on Movies & Events
- You would find a list of all the movie tickets or event tickets ordered via Paytm
- Hit the Cancel Booking option
- Confirm your choice
- Paytm shall initiate the refund to your wallet as per their cancellation policy
Cancellation and refund policy of Paytm
The movie ticket Cancellation Protect feature lets users cancel their booked movie tickets two hours before the show screening. They would get a 100% refund on their ticket cost. However, it is important to apply the CP option while booking the tickets to avail of the benefit if required.
When people book tickets with the CP option, they get a booking confirmation through an email or SMS. However, this is not the tickets. The tickets would be emailed or sent over SMS once the cancellation period is over.
Upon cancellation, the refund is given for the ticket price after adjusting the received cashback if applicable. Other amounts paid like convenience fee, Cancellation Protect fee, and amount paid for food and beverages shall not be refunded. The cinema operators reserve the right to allow or reject redemption of food and beverage in the order. There is no option to partially cancel tickets.
