The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 that Xiaomi launched in August 2022 was initially available in gold and black color options. The company announced two new color options for the device during the Xiaomi 13 series launch in December 2022. These are known as Black Night and Moonlight Silver. They are available for sale now.
New color options
The back panel exhibits the new colors. While Moonlight Silver has a clear gloss finish, Black Night has a leather-like texture. The price remains the same at RMB 8,999 for the new color options like the previous ones.
Features and specifications
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 has a 6.5-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate. Once fully open, the device’s interior OLED screen measures 8.2-inch offering a 2.5K resolution.
The interior display has ultra-thin glass and an under-display camera. Both the outer and interior displays support 1000 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and TrueColour.
The device houses a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It runs on MIUI 13-based Android 12 out of the box. It comes with 12 GB RAM and up to 1 TB of storage space. It has a 4500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 sports triple cameras by Leica at the back. The setup has a 50 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP telephoto unit, and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It can record 8K videos and supports Dolby Vision HDR format.
