Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV is all set to launch today by 12 noon. Xiaomi has still not revealed the model but the company is likely going to launch Mi TV 5 Pro that debuted in China in late 2019. The new Mi TV model could help Xiaomi once again enter the competition with Samsung, TCL, and OnePlus which offer QLED TV models in the country.

Xiaomi is hosting the Mi QLED 4K TV launch at 12 noon today. The event will be live streamed through the company’s official social media channels, including YouTube.

The company has been hush about the specifications of the latest Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV. However, Xiaomi has already confirmed that the new model will sport a QLED display. QLED TVs feature a quantum dot layer that is said to improve brightness and colours, offering better overall picture performance. The new TV model is also expected to have 64-bit MediaTek SoC, along with HDR support. It is expected that the new Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV will run on Android TV and will also have a PatchWall launcher.

Mi TV 5 Pro features an OLED Quantum Dot screen that can deliver up to 108-percent NTSC colour gamut. It was launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and also sports two 8W four-unit speakers along with four microphones to enable multi-dimensional voice recognition.

Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV price in India

According to the recent teasers released and as per Xiaomi’s Mi TV lineup available in China, it is expected that the company will be launching Mi TV 5 Pro in the Indian market today.  The TV was launched in the Chinese market in November and is available with a starting price of CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 41,600). The Mi TV 5 Pro comes in 55-, 65-, and 75-inch models. However, the company has still not revealed the Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV price in India, but we can expect it be below Rs. 50,000.
