Twitter Poll held by Musk to Decide Whether or not he Would Remain the CEO

Elon Musk is more on the news ever since he decided to buy Twitter, which he finally did in October 2022. He bought Twitter for a whopping $ 44 billion. He has made numerous changes to Twitter starting with firing a lot of employees, selling blue checkmarks to whoever pays $ 8 a month, using polls to know the public view on important matters, etc.

Musk’s word

Musk has been a man of his word as far as the polls are concerned. He abides by the result and takes steps accordingly. Surprisingly, his latest poll states, “Should I step down as head of Twitter?” Further, he added,“I will abide by the results of this poll.”

This epiphany probably came to him after he made a critical change to the link-sharing policy of Twitter and got severe backlash. However, the same has been reversed since.

Public opinion

The votes received have mostly been in favor of him stepping down as the CEO of Twitter. Looks like he may have to leave his post. With a little time remaining till the poll is closed, you have the chance to vote otherwise to let him remain the CEO.

Who would be the CEO?

However, it seems the problem is not him abandoning the ship but the issue being as Musk tweeted, “No one wants the job who can actually keep Twitter alive. There is no successor.”
