Elon Musk has finally taken control over Twitter and infamously began with firing its CEO Parag Agarwal along with a bunch of its top execs.
Reports confirming the same have come in from The Washington Post and also CNBC. Agrawal had gone to court for holding the Tesla chief to terms of the takeover deal that he earlier tried to escape. The court finally ordered Musk to seal the deal with no further mongering.
The man behind Tesla tweeted earlier that buying Twitter was significant for him “because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner. Even before the court order Musk had signalled that his deal of Twitter’s takeover was well in place by changing his Twitter bio to read Chief Twit.
