Speculation that Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk could fight in a ring is refusing to die down even days after the Twitter owner’s challenge to Facebook CEO in jest. The situation got even more bizarre when Musk said the battle could happen.
What did Musk say?
When Musk was asked about training by Bloomberg reporter Ashlee Vance, he said, “Well, I haven’t started training yet, so… if it does happen, I will train.” He was attending a “friend’s birthday party in Europe” when he joined this Twitter Spaces session.
Musk said, “Yeah that’s possible,” when he was told Mark takes “this stuff pretty seriously” and “this (cage fight) could go, this could go badly.” Tesla CEO further said that he spends his time “according to what is needed” and since he does not “usually have to fight people, so I don’t train, therefore, physically.”

SpaceX CEO commented on a tweet thread, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane’. Was worried there for a moment.” The tweet was about the details of Project 92, Meta’s Twitter rival app. One user warned Elon about Zuckerberg’s training in Jiu-Jitsu. It is then he responded saying, “Up for a cage match.” Mark was quick to reply to the challenge asking for the location by posting a screenshot on his Instagram Story.
