LG All Set To Launch Its G Pad 10.1: Pricing Details Yet to Come for The Budget Tablet

The LG G Pad 10.1 is all set to be launched worldwide, making its commercial availability in the U.S. and other markets worldwide in July 2014.

The tablet is equipped with a screen size of 10.1 inches and is the largest one in the company’s line-up of latest G Pad series. The tablet sports several mid-range specifications as well as high-end features, and it is being largely seen as an entertainment hub for music, video, gaming and such.

LG CEO Dr. Jong-seok Park has been quoted saying in a press release on July 7 that “Consumers use tablets differently from smartphones and we wanted to highlight the important role of entertainment in the new LG G Pad 10.1. Tablets are increasingly being used as companion devices, which is why we made connecting the LG G Pad 10.1 to other devices so easy and convenient and why LG G Pad 10.1 offers the best core technologies of our G series smartphones.”

The tablet offers a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800 and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity. The device is also equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 1.3MPl front shooter along with an 8,000mAh battery.

However, the company has not yet revealed any pricing details, but more information is most likely to be released soon.
