Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple is working on a new version of the iPad Mini. He does not think that there would be any changes in design but the new version could have a new processor. It is expected to hit the market by end of 2023 or within the first half of 2024.

While Kuo did not mention the processor variant but considering there is still time for its release, it could have an M-series chipset or a variant of the A16 Bionic processor which is powering the iPhone 14 series.

Since the debut of the iPad Mini in 2012, there has not been a change in design till 2021. The tablet has a screen size of 8.3-inch which is ideal for those who are looking for a device bigger than an iPhone but smaller than the 10th Gen iPad.

The 2021 iPad Mini variant has 5G connectivity, A15 Bionic chipset, and a USB-C port. It is also available in various trendy colors. Apple did not provide any information on this but if Kuo’s words are true, soon more updates would be made available.
