The RedmiBook product launch happened on 3rd August’21 in India as scheduled. It debuted two years ago in China. There are two variants of the RedmiBook- RedmiBook e-Learning Edition and RedmiBook Pro. This new laptop series will cater to students, teachers, and people who are working from home due to the pandemic.
Details of the Devices Shared During the RedmiBook Product Launch
These laptops are powered by the 11th Gen Tiger Lake processor by Intel. The RedmiBook series will come in a charcoal grey color.
The laptops’ battery is built to last up to 10 hours on a single charge. These devices are pre-installed with Windows 10 Home, MI Smart Share, and MS Office Home.
Both RedmiBook- RedmiBook e-Learning Edition and RedmiBook Pro are eligible for free Windows 11 upgrade whenever the same is available.
Flipkart, mi.com, and Mi Home will host the sale of these devices on 6th August’21 from noon.
RedmiBook e-Learning Edition
The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is powered by an Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor clocked at a speed of up to 4.1GHz. It has a 15.6-inch FullHD screen. This laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home as its OS and Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition 2019.
The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is priced at Rs. 41,999 for the 256GB SATA SSD variant and Rs. 44,999 for the 512GB NVMe SSD storage option. A discount of Rs. 2,500 can be availed for all credit card, debit card, and EMI transactions for HDFC bank customers.
The RedmiBook Pro laptop runs on an Intel i5-1300H processor clocked at 4.4Ghz with Iris Xe graphics integrated. It packs up an 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD. This laptop has a 15.6-inch FullHD+ display, comes with a 720p HD webcam, scissor keyboard, and dual microphones. It weighs 1.8Kg and has a thickness of 19.9 mm.
For connectivity, it houses 2 USB 3.2 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, an SD card reader, a USB 2.0 port, and an HDMI port.
The price of the RedmiBook Pro is set at Rs. 49,999. HDFC Bank customers can avail of an instant discount of Rs. 3500 on making the purchase.
