The biggest tech trade show of the year, the Consumer Electronics Show or CES, started today and would continue till 8th January 2023. The show sets the stage for announcements, trends, and ascendant product categories that would be seen throughout 2023.
What to expect?
People would get to look at the latest developments in laptops, TVs, smart home gadgets, monitors, phones, smart toilets, and cars. Companies like Sony, LG, Samsung, etc. have already done a press conference on 4th January 2023. Some companies made announcements even earlier.
Role of the verge
The Verge is covering the Consumer Electronics Show on the ground in Las Vegas. CES had a quieter couple of years as CES 2021 was online-only due to the pandemic and CES 2022 had a quarter of the regular footfall due to Omicron concerns. The Consumer Technology Association which organizes CES is expecting this year to be a blast with busier halls and more happening news.
