How to hide music sticker on Instagram story?
- Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone
- Click on the plus on the top right which is the Create button
- Hit the Story option from the drop-down menu
- Go ahead and create a story
- Click a new picture or record a video instantly or pick something available from your gallery
- Edit the story
There are two ways to edit your story.
Method 1
- Click on the Sticker icon
- You can choose from a variety of options like icons, GIFs, music, and filter stickers
Method 2
- Swipe from the bottom of the screen using your finger to pull up the Sticker menu
- Click on the Music sticker as you want to add music now
- Select the music from the available playlist either by scrolling or using the search bar
- Once you have found the desired music, tap on it to select
- Edit the length or choose the part you want from the music clip

Method 1 for hiding the music sticker
- Pinch the album image with your forefinger and thumb to make it smaller until it disappears
Method 2 for hiding the music sticker
- Drag the album image towards the edge of the frame of your story until it fades away and goes out of sight
- Publish your story without the music sticker by clicking on the Your Story button
Although the selected music shall play the sticker would not be seen now.
Method 3 for hiding the music sticker
- Open the Spotify app
- Search for the music you want for your Instagram story
- Click on the selected music to play it on your screen
- Click on the ellipsis menu on the top right
- Scroll down and click on the Share option
- Click on Instagram icon
- You shall be directed to Instagram stories
- Edit your story accordingly
- If the album image appears, make it smaller by pinching it and moving it out of the frame
- Hit the Your story button to publish it on your profile
- Click on the IG story or the Play on Spotify option to play the song
