WhatsApp continues to introduce new features for its users. It has something for WhatsApp desktop users now. The latest beta release lets users report any status update that is hurtful, obscene, or has any type of message or content that violates WhatsApp regulations.
Availability
The feature now available to the latest WhatsApp desktop beta users would soon be available to all WhatsApp desktop users. When somebody reports a status, the WhatsApp team would inspect it to determine whether or not the status has violated any policy by hurting the sentiment of a community or person.
The feature is expected to be available for iOS and Android users as well in the near future. The latest feature came right after the feature that let users report messages. When messages are reported, WhatsApp gains access to the last five messages. However, this does not break the end-to-end encryption feature. Even the last five messages that would be shared with WhatsApp would be end-to-encrypted as well.

There is no confirmation yet as to when the feature would be available to all WhatsApp desktop users. However, it is expected to be available in early 2023 considering it is already used by beta users.
How to get the feature?
If you want to use this feature, you can sign-up for the WhatsApp beta test program. You would get the latest beta build of the app. In the same way, you can test all the latest beta features on iOS and Android devices.
