Mahindra & Mahindra recently partnered with chip maker Qualcomm to enhance the experience with comfortable and safe driving in its brand-new Scorpio-N vehicle. Qualcomm will work with Visteon Corporation, an automotive electronics company, to bring transformative in-vehicle and world-class experience to the new Scorpio-N. for this, the company will use its 3rd Generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms.
Senior Director, Business Development, Qualcomm India, Uday Dodla says that they will apply over two decades of auto expertise to convert the Scorpio-N into a feature-rich and digitally advanced SUV.
What’s special about the 3rd Generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms
The 3rd Generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms are specially designed to support a higher level of knowledge and computing required for advanced abilities featured in next-generation vehicles. These advanced abilities help to enable contextual safety use cases for both passengers and drivers. It includes security of vehicular and personal data, driver monitoring, and object detection.
Along with this, the 3rd Generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms feature a suite of wireless technologies. This helps to support multi-mode cellular connectivity, enhanced Bluetooth technologies, and Wi-Fi 6, the company claims.

The all-new Scorpio-N offers its drivers a cutting-edge driving experience that is provided by Mahindra’s connected AI technology. Also, the car features a 20.32 cm infotainment system with navigation and 17.78 cm colour driver info display
