A Delhi-based artist went viral on Twitter and everywhere else after creating AI-generated images of males and females from different Indian states. Now, another Twitter user from Amritsar reimagined wedding photography. He created AI-generated newlywed couples from different states of India.
Couples from different states
He posted pictures of brides and grooms from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, West Bengal, and Arunachal Pradesh.
Punjabi couple
Reception
His posts became an instant hit. The posts received mixed reactions from other people. According to them, some of the couples of certain states were depicted beautifully but some others were shown incorrectly and somehow backward in nature.
People belonging to certain states did not like the way their state couples were portrayed. They thought that couples from West Bengal, Gujrat, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh are not shown correctly or beautifully. Moreover, questions on authenticity were raised as well.
Imperfection noticed
A major problem that can be seen in most of the images is that the fingers of the people are imperfect or flawed. Guess the AI software did not give much importance to the fingers or the artist could not make it work properly. Maybe he did that deliberately to engage people into commenting on his posts.
Other work of art
Waterbender or Kartar Singh
Apart from the newlywed couple photos, he also posted Ai-generated images of a waterbender, Downing Street in London, Punjabi traditional food, Ninja Nihungs of Nanded, etc.
