Samsung stands by same style: no metal casing for Galaxy Note 3

There have been lot of rumours surfacing around Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Note 3, one of which suggested that the firm will release its upcoming device with a metal casing and flexible display.
However, the Korean manufacturer anticipates high demand for the phablet-style smartphone and wants no further delay in the release. As per reported by SamMobile, Galaxy Note 3 will be designed with the same polycarbonate material, just like its predecessors, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4.
Apparently, the Galaxy Note 3 will feature the 5.99 full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is also rumoured to sport a quad-core Exynos 5 octa-processor, which is also featured in few selected international versions of the Galaxy S4. With the design same as the latter, the Galaxy Note 3 will have a thinner bezel with a large screen size as compared to the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note 2.

Nokia Lumia 920 Vs Samsung Galaxy Vs Apple iPhone 5—Nokia Airs A Jibe At The Giants

Going by the latest ad campaign for the Nokia Lumia 920 that runs on Windows 8, we do feel Nokia is planning to hit the Samsung Galaxy lineup and iPhone 5 in their gut but is one advert enough? Nokia is working hard indeed – trying to hit a six that has been eluding it with the likes of Samsung and Apple in control of the smartphone pitch.

The Nokia Lumia seems like a game changer for the Finnish-player yet there is a lot more it has to do to make a mark.

The campaign on air tickles our funny bone but the message it leaves behind is the furor over two groups (the bride and groom’s camps here) fighting over the superiority of the Samsung Galaxy series or the Apple iPhone 5. All that the Lumia 920 users do is snap away and enjoy the bedlam!

How Nokia believes the advert to drive their message clearly is something out of my understanding. Will users indeed understand the concept of Lumia’s PureView lens being hundred notches up Samsung and Apple lenses?  Ask me and I am confused. It is time that Nokia’s campaigns highlighted what the Lumia can really do—in a way that its competitors cannot!… Read the rest

HTC One Tests Samsung’s Bullfighting Skills- Is HTC Shooing Away The Samsung Galaxy Lineup?

Is Samsung turning nasty now with so much competition around? I guess it can barely tolerate HTC gaining impetus on smartphone and phablet territory. Why else would it pay reviewers to write drastically negative comments on the HTC One?

Fresh from its raid post-LG complaints of Samsung having stolen OLED secrets from their office, this is the next time that Samsung has locked horns with counterparts.

If such allegations are proved to be true, then the Korean giants will have to shell out penalty to the tune of $835,000. The embarrassment will be another tale altogether. A Facebook page, post says, “Samsung Taiwan has ceased all marketing activities that involve the posting of anonymous comments. We regret any inconvenience this incident may have caused. We will continue to reinforce education and training for our employees to prevent any future recurrence.”

The post adds that it has conferred with HTC and Samsung. It promises to update anything on the matter as soon as it gets hands on it.

What left me dazed is with the success of products one after the other—the Samsung Galaxy lineup, the laptops, the tablet, the phablets—did Samsung have to take such a risk step to stay at the top of the game?

Now that Samsung has chosen to hike the Galaxy trail in a seductive manner with the Galaxy S4, we are left craving for the exact date when we could grab the Samsung Galaxy S4 with our hands.

Apple iPhone 5S Vs LG Optimus G Pro Vs Samsung Galaxy S4: Turned Inside Out—Not Impressive

Wonder how the iPhone 5S will look like from within? Here is a snippet that could get you talking. Despite knowing that the iPhone 5S would just be an upgrade and not a new avatar from Apple, I still wanted it to surprise me with new bits. But my thought crumbled right at the time I spied the same processor from iPhone 5 punched into the 5S.

Perhaps a silver lining in the cloud comes in the form of a quad-core A7 processor coupled with a promise of 2GB LPDDR-800 RAM. However, before going overboard on the amazement this holds for users, remember—this is just a probability. Perhaps prayers could translate the same into reality.

Multitasking might get groovier on the iPhone 5S. in a market flooded with so many kings—Samsung Galaxy S4 LG Optimus G Proand the Sony Xperia Z—Apple indeed needs to climb up the ladder to wear the crown of emperor.

Amid such leaks, users are sincerely keen to get hands on a peppier iPhone. Perhaps the iPhone 6 or even the 5S could wrap in brighter specs and candier colors. For now, I am waiting to bite the Apple the 5S’th time.… Read the rest

Samsung Galaxy S4 Vs Pantech Vega Iron : The Iron Fisted To Lance Fight With The S4

A panther is on the prowl and is ready to pounce on the Samsung Galaxy S4 in three days from now. The divine number 3 indeed has taken on significance as the countdown to the Pantech Vega begins.

Pantech Vega Iron is set to rule the smartphone territory with an iron hand. Slated to be a sleek model that follows Samsung’s color scheme of the classic black and white picks, the Vega Iron might be laced with aluminum sheen. With a toned bezel, the rendition reminds me of Samsung’s older kids—the Galaxy Pop and the Galaxy Young.

With a 5-inch screen purported to breathe life into the display, the Pantech is anticipated to be tough competition for reigning king Samsung Galaxy range.  With a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor clubbed with 2 GB RAM, Vega looks to turn the tide in favor of rising stars against the Galaxy.

A shutter that boasts being of13 MP on the rear could add to the beauty of the offering. For us, Samsung is having too much to face—Sony Xperia, LG Optimus and now Pantech Vega Iron!
