Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged all Indians to hoist the National flag at their homes. He has also asked the citizens to change their display picture to ‘Tiranga’ on all social media accounts. PM Narendra Modi gave these instructions while addressing the 91st edition of the monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

On the occasion of the 75th year of Independence, a movement known as ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is being held and people must support the movement by changing their DP and hoisting the flag, says Modi.

The people should use a picture of the national flag as their DP from August 2 to August 15.

Here’s how you can add the Indian Flag to your display picture on Facebook

To change your display picture to ‘Tiranga’, follow these simple steps:

  • First of all, open the Facebook app on your device and tap on your display picture
  • You will then see an option of ‘ADD FRAME’
  • Click on it and Choose India from the given list
  • Pick a frame for yourself and tap hit the save button
  • Doing this will add an Indian Flag to your display picture.

You can even use the same display picture on all other social media platforms. For doing so, you just have to click on the Facebook display picture and then save it to your phone. Social media platforms where you can keep this DP are Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp.

However, if you don’t have an account on Facebook, you can download the Indian Flag picture from the internet itself. You can then use the downloaded picture on various platforms.

So, now you know how you can support the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement, and how to change your display picture to an Indian Flag. Let us all come together to celebrate the 75th Independence Day.
