- Use share link to add link
We are going to provide you with a link, through which you can post clickable link on your Facebook story.
NOTE: You need to login your Facebook account in browser. The link won’t be visible through Facebook app.
Steps to add link through browser
- Open any web browser on your device
- Now, paste the following URL in the URL tab
- URL: https://m.Facebook.com/sharer.php?u=yourlinkhere
- Don’t forget to replace ‘yourlinkhere’ with the full URL
- Example: https://m.Facebook.com/sharer.php?u=https://www.geekinstructor.com
- Once the link has been edited, click on Go button to open the webpage
- You will be redirected to Facebook website
- Enter your account details and login
- You will be on share page
- Now tick mark your story option
The news feed will be selected by default. Untick the option if you don’t want to share.
- Finally, tap the Post button and you have successfully added clickable link on your Facebook story
· Add link using WhatsApp
WhatsApp and Facebook are now connected with each other. When you share a post on WhatsApp, you get a feature of sharing it on your Fb as well.
Here is how you can do so.
· Open WhatsApp on your device
· Now go to Status tab
· You will see My status option at the top
· Click pencil edit icon on it to create a text status
· Now, paste the link you want to share on you Fb story. Post it on your WhatsApp status and share it directly on Facebook.
· Now the link you wanted to share is on your Facebook story
Share link through YouTube
Sometimes we want to share YouTube links on Facebook story with a clickable link. This is possible through YouTube website directly.
Steps to add link
· Open any browser on your device
· Visit YouTube
· Search for the video whose link you want to share
· Click on share button and select share on Facebook
· It will take you to the fb website on a new tab
· Now, select your story option and tap on the post button. Your link will be shared
NOTE: Make sure you untick news feed option if you don’t want it on your profile.
Use Facebook app to share the link

- Open your Facebook app
- Go to create post option
- Pate the link of the video you want to share
- Now wait for the preview of the link
- Once it is done, remove the link text from the post
- Tap on the share button on the post you created
- Select share to your story
- Your link will be shared
