Tesla has mastered the game of teasing it seems. Yet again the company has released the teaser video of Tesla Cybertruck crash test for those waiting for it in anticipation.
It is a 37-second video shared on Twitter from Tesla’s official handle. The word ‘test’ is written on the vehicle as shown in the video. The car speeds towards the wall for a crash test but the video cuts off just before the moment of impact. The reaction and expression of observers behind the safety glass are also shown as they get psyched to witness the crash.
Video
The video showed the underpinnings of the truck briefly. It seems to be comprised of a double-wishbone suspension configuration for Cybertruck’s air suspension support. Tesla is expected to release the entire video till after the impact along with more information.

Production
The production of this vehicle would start in the middle of 2023 in Texas at Tesla’s factory. The production volume would ramp up in 2024.
Last week, Tesla revealed a pre-production Cybertruck on Twitter. The car showed to be using its four-wheel steering to attempt aggressing steering manoeuvres.
Latest changes
According to Elon Musk, Cybertruck is “perhaps better than a (Tesla Model) Y in turning.” Tesla even previewed a pre-production Cybertruck on its Investor Day. The vehicle has seemed to undergone some changes since its initial reveal. For instance, triangular side mirrors have been added and bumpers were modified.
The steering wheel of the Cybertruck has a more conventional oval-shaped now along with a flat top and bottom. The centre console has been updated for extra storage.

Challenges in production
Elon Musk talked about the challenges in the production of Cybertruck due to supply chain issues and inflation. He said, “The specs and the pricing will be different…but what I can say is that the Cybertruck will be one hell of a product and it’s going to be like a damn fine machine.”
About first crash test
It needs to be mentioned that the first time Tesla Cybertruck crash test was done, things did not go well. But things seem to be better now with Musk’s confidence and expectations from it.
