2. Convert a video into GIF – If you want to turn a video into a GIF you will have to download the video to GIF shortcut. When you run this shortcut, all the videos which are over a second long (excluding the live photos) will appear in the list. In case the video you want to choose is too long, you can edit out the portion that you want to use. Then press Done. Your GIF will be saved. 

3. Use the preinstalled Photos app on your phone- Open up the camera app on your phone, and click on the concentric circles at the top. This will help you click the Live Photos. Once you click the Live Photos, using the Photos app you can turn the pictures into GIFs.
