Tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 was first made into the news in 2020 when there was a sudden increase in the demand for portable devices suitable for entertainment and learning during the pandemic. It seems logical that the company is trying to launch tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 to harness the growing demand.

A Weibo blogger revealed the codename for tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is K81C. It appeared on the internet wearing a Snapdragon 870 processor. The new tablet is expected to come with super-fast charging, a super large screen with a high-refresh rate, and great battery support. It will sport an 11-inch 2K resolution LCD screen. It supports up to 144Hz high refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate.

There are speculations that the Xiaomi tablet 2021 will also come with a side fingerprint scanner and stylus support. This will put the tab at power with rivals like Apple, Samsung, and Huawei.
Xiaomi is expected to bring two Mi Pad 5 configuration models. While one is said to have Snapdragon 870 processor, the other will sport Dimensity 1200 processor. The latter version is also expected to have a smaller screen.

According to internal executives working with the electronics brand, Xiaomi has designed a new MIUI for Pad system. Similar to the MIX FOLD folding screen smartphone, it will support the handheld PC mode and provide a familiar computer operation interface, including the classic start menu and control panel. The new system will also enable the quick opening of multiple windows at the same time, bringing a richer user experience.
