Xiaomi Poco C3 launch in Indiahas been a hot topic of discussion among tech tipsters for quite some time. In the latest updates, the upcoming smartphone was recently spotted in a Bluetooth SIG listing. However, it is also speculated that the Poco C3 model might just be a rebranded Indian version of the company’s earlier smartphone offering Redmi 9C.
Xiaomi had launched Redmi 9C in Malyasia along with the new Redmi 9A earlier in June this year. It has been reported that in the SIG listings both the phones carried almost the same model numbers. Tech news portals have noted that the Poco C3 was listed under the model number M2006C3MI while Redmi 9C was listed as M2006C3MG. Thus, it won’t be surprising if Poco C3 turns out to be just a rebranded Redmi 9C.
Expected Specs and Features of Poco C3
Since, it seems likely that the Poco C3 may offer quite similar features as Redmi 9C. It is expected that the new Poco C3 will be powered by anocta-core MediaTekHelio G80 processor. Moreover, offering a 6.53-inch screen size, it will likely offer an HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
POCO C3 will further run on Android 10 OSand offer a 5000 mAh battery and 4G RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.In terms of camera, Redmi 9C is rumoured to also the trending quad rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel wide angle, 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera as well as a 2-megapixel depth camera sensor.
But, despite the confusions around Redmi 9C and Poco C3, it seems certain that new Poco C3 is likely to be the next Xiaomi smartphone to be launched in India. However, we are yet to get any confirmations from the company. There has been no word from either of the brands, Xiaomi or Poco on the upcoming launch or existence of Poco C3.
Xiaomi Poco C3 Price and Launch Date In India
Xiaomi POCO C3 is most likely to be launched in India in the month of October this year. Furthermore, it is now expected that the smartphone will be launched at a starting price of Rs 8,499. However, we don’t yet know about its colour variables besides black.
