Realme is breaking all records and has now revealed its first smartphone with an under-display camera. According to the picture shared by Xu Qi Chase, Realme Vice President on Chinese social media platform Weibo, it is quite clear that the latest Realme under display camera phone doesn’t host a notch or a hole-punch cutout for the front camera.
The Vice President of Realme himself clarified in the pat that the Realme under display camera phone doesn’t wear a pop-up selfie camera. CEO of Realme India MadhavSheth, in his latest interview with GSMArena, explicated that due to the thickness of the 5G module, it is challenging to incorporate a pop-up camera with a smartphone without forfeiting battery power. When talking about the Realme under display camera, MadhavSheth also highlighted the 08MP cameras and rapid product expansion the latest phone will showcase.

Realme isn’t the first company exploring under-display camera technology. ZTE Axon 20 5G, which was launched earlier this month, is touted as world’s first smartphone with an under-display camera, and wears an under-display camera.
