Windows Phones Aren’t Dead Yet: Six New Handsets On The Way

While Microsoft seems ready for some austerity, this is no way means its business on the smartphone front is set to slow down soon. Satya Nadella, CEO of the American giant stated how he is “committed to our first-party devices including phones”. Therefore, we can expect more than a couple of flagships for Windows segment in the near future from Microsoft, according to @evleaks, aka Evan Blass, a leading tipster on the micro-messaging site. The tweet specifies that at least six Windows phones are in the making.  

The Lumia 940 Specs

The Lumia 940 from Microsoft will come with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080-pixel screen resolution, says Phone Arena. The flagship will flaunt a 25 MP PureView main camera and triple-tone LED flash. The selfie snapper will have 5MP packed in.

The Lumia 940 XL will be a sleek model. A Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and Adreno 430 graphics will power it to life. In addition, the Lumia 940 XL will come in  5.7-incher of display with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440.  Count in 3GB RAM  with in-built 32 GB storage and 20 MP Pure View rear cam, and you already know why the Lumia 940 XL is indeed set to be a hit.
