Windows Phone 8 is going to up the ante with its next update, the GDR3. Facing stiff competition from Andriod and iOS 7, Windows has decided to give its users novelty features of shutting down the apps while multitasking. According to WP Central message board, windows has gone ahead and collaborated with Craiglist for a device that will boost the multitasking of all Windows 8 phones. Has Microsoft taken this decision to beat iOS and the latest version of Andriod the Kit Kat (not Key Lime Pie anymore)
Along with the ability to close apps while multitasking on windows 8 phones, the users would also be able to mute calls and write texts while driving.
Much like Apple iOS 7 and Android, The GDR3 update of Windows phone 8 would also give an ability to the users to create custom alerts for their emails, social media messages and phone messages. There would also be an option to change the screen orientation as per the need. Once the update comes into motion you don’t have to worry about the backup, as it will be restored to phones over Wi-Fi.
What do you techthirstians think about the new Windows 8 update? Would it be able to beat iOS 7 and Andriod Kit Kat?
