Windows 10 Release Date: The Build Is Ready To Embrace New Laptops And PCs

By now, Microsoft should be making some last minute changes to the Windows 10, given that July 29 is almost here. The release to manufacturing deadline has also arrived and so, the American tech giant has unveiled a brand new build alongside, known as the RTM 10240.

The new build will make way into the new line of PCs or laptops to be available from their OEMs. However, before you set your hopes high, remember that a limited number of these machines pre-loaded with Windows 10 will be available for July 29. As of now, the RTM build 10240 will be accessible to testers of Windows 10, if they are part of the exclusive Microsoft Insiders program.

No More Previews

Release of this RTM build also means that you will not get your hands on the Windows 10 preview builds anymore. Microsoft is currently planning to work in unison with the Insiders groups so that the latest OS is not glitched and to understand the plausible upgrades that will be needed, according to Microsoft OS Group engineering general manager Gabe Aul.
