Yusuf Mehdi of Microsoft said that the Smartphones will soon be connected to the Xbox implying that windows phone would be the first one to bring out such connectivity. In addition, it is rumored that Nokia Lumia 928 would be the first one to get this integration.
When the Microsoft senior marketing manager was asked about Xbox One and Window Phones merging he did not specify any information but definitely hinted that they are working on a certain aspect of the Window Phones such as seamlessness and merging of some elements. If Window Phone is trying collaboration with the Xbox then user expectations would surely go up.
However, what Microsoft is actually aiming at would only come to surface at the Build conference in June where Window 8 update would be launched. There are chances that Microsoft would also add the Xbox connectivity to the Surface 2. Till then let us wait and watch.
