Gramin Vivofit (veevo-fit) fitness band is now commercially available on e-commerce website Flipkart on an exclusive basis. The band has been manufactured by satellite navigation devices company, Garmin, and is carrying a price tag of INR 9,990. The band is available in black and slate colors in both small and large sizes in the box. The customers also have the option to purchase purple, teal and blue color belts.
The fitness band was first showcased during the CES 2014 held in the earlier part of the year. The band enables the users to set a personalized daily goal, track progress and get alerts to begin activity. The band is equipped with an always-on, curved display that displays steps, goal countdown, calories, distance and time of day.
Vivofit has user replaceable batteries that have a life of more than one year. The band also has water-resistant capabilities of 50m. It can also be connected with ANT+ heart rate monitors in order to track fitness activities.
