It’s just been few days that Aakash 2 tablet has been launched in India and it has already got international appeal. After Pranab Mukerjee bringing out the budget tablet in India, Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon at the United Nations has launched it. India has got worldwide appreciation for bringing innovation in the Tablet market.
Indian ambassador Hardeep Puri said, “Using the Aakash 2, children in remote schools will have access to world class facilities.”
The tablet which is being considered a game changer has been priced at $ 40 or Rs 2,200 which is the USP of the device. The tablet will be available to 220 million students for free. But Chinese companies have alleged the tablet for borrowing its components from them.
Datawind CEO Suneet Tuli said, “The idea and innovation is Indian, final assembling is in India. One report says only embellishing is done in India. Ask Apple and Microsoft what that means.”
