Apple’s iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 could be released this October. Though it would seem that one of these devices release might be delayed due to the manufacturer for the touch sensors – Japanese firm Nisha must boost capacity to meet the demands of two Apple devices being launched at the same time. In that case we could expect to see one of the devices to be released sometime next year, probably in April or May.
It is rumoured that the iPad 5 will be a sleeker and lighter device than the iPad 4 and that it will copy design cues from the iPad Mini. It is also expected that the iPad Mini 2 will be getting a retina display, something that the original iPad Mini did not have. The iPad 5 might be getting a vibration alert system as hinted by a patent that Apple has filed and it is expected that the rear facing camera will get a boost from 5MP to 8MP.
What is really interesting is that the iPad 5 might actually support wireless charging and have a back lit Apple logo, brilliant for all the Apple geeks who can’t wait to show off their new Apple iPad 5!
