FCC has just been visited by the Wi-Fi only variant of Sony Xperia Tablet Z—Sony’s hottest baby and top of the line tablet. This report confirms the rumors that the much acclaimed tablet is all set for a release in the United States. Like its cousin- the Sony Xperia Z smart phone, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z is also both dust and water resistant.
This tablet comes equipped with a large 10.1 inch LCD screen, which boasts of 224ppi pixel density and a 1920 x 1200 resolution. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ864 processor and has an Adreno 320 GPU.
Along with 2GB of RAM and 6000mAh battery, this much awaited product from Sony also has 16GB/32GB of native storage. The internal storage has the capacity of being further enhanced by a micro SD card. The tablet has an 8.1 MP camera rear-facing camera and is only 6.9 mm thin—cool isn’t it?
The Japanese users have already been wowed by the launch of The Sony Xperia Tablet Z , which is all set to unveil itself in Europe. U.S. and Canada can look forward to its launch in summer. The 16GB model of the tablet can be purchased by US users at $500, while the 32GB model will set them back by $600.
