The Wait For American Fans Gets Over: Nokia Lumia 720 To Hit The Major Phone Carriers Soon

Nokia showcased two brilliant additions to its Lumia range of Windows-based smartphones during the MWC 2013 just a few days ago. If you are among those who were completely bowled over by these phones and if you are based in the U.S., here’s some great news for you. Looks like the Lumia 720 will soon hit the American markets.

According to the latest we’ve heard, this extremely reasonable Windows Phone 8 based smartphone has applied to get cleared by the FCC. We’ve also heard that AT&T could the frontrunner among the wireless carriers to announce this beautiful device.

The Lumia 720 has a 4.3-inch display with a ppi count of 217 ppi. Powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM, it will run on Windows Phone 8. The phone has a 6.7 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera as well. It will have 8 GB of internal storage space, but if that’s not enough, you can always add more using a microSD card. A 2000 mAh battery promises a talktime of up to 13 hours on 3G networks and up to 79 hours of music playback.
