The year of 2013 would bring with it the joys of smart phones in the face of Samsung Galalxy S4, HTC One and Apple iPhone 5S. The phones are sure to increase the excitement but we shouldn’t ignore that some of the devices namely Sony xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 standing proudly in the smart phone shelves are worth a try.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 captured the fantasy of many but being launched in August last year it is on the verge of entering the passé club, still it is one hell of a phone. In tough competition with CES revelation 5-incer Sony Xperia Z, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is solid.
Sony Xperia Z has a impressive 1080p resolution which is not Samsung Galaxy Note 2‘s forte but yes if a bigger 5.5.inch screen woos you than there is nothing better in Note 2.
S-pen capabilities make Samsung Galaxy Note 2 stand out in the crowd. S-pen lets you use those applications (S-note) which are exclusive to Samsung. Sony Xperia Z cannot dream of such an accessory as for now.
Unlike Sony Xperia Z Samsung Galaxy Note 2 lets you multitask, thanks to its Multi window view. So if you are browsing Facebook you can side by side look up your Twitter feeds.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with removable battery and micro SD card which makes it easy to repair as compared to Sony Xperia Z which unfortunately is not that flexible.
In the U.S Sony Xepria Z has the boots of LTE to fill, but unfortunately it is not compatible which again gives Samsung Galaxy Note 2 an edge.
It is the water and dust resistant feature of Sony Xperia Z which is hard to ignore and it is here that Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and many upcoming phones (if they do not come with this unique feature) fail.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Sony Xperia Z are phones of great might. Let’s wait and watch which of the newbeeies would bring them down… our guess Samsung Galaxy S4…
