The Last of Us: DLC Release Date Expected February 14 As Ellie and Riley Fight It Out

The year 2013 has been an eventful year for gaming and one of the best games of the season has been ‘The Last of Us’ developed by Naughty Dog for Sony Computer Entertainment. The game which scored well in all aspects is now expected to shift the release date of its DLC which was originally slated for a March 31, 2014 release.

Fans will have a ‘bloody’ valentine with the game expected to release on February 14, 2014. The DLC will feature Ellie along with another girl Riley seen from a poster released on PlayStation Network Store. The same was also seen at another Sony Entertainment Network Store as well adding more fuel to the fire.

The original game, which features Joel and Ellie, has gathered a huge fan base within a short time. Showing America suffering under a post-apocalyptic phase, they show the lives of Joel and Ellie who battle zombie-like creatures along with bandits and cannibals who are out to eliminate them. Players get to control the character of Joel while Ellie functions under AI.

This game which gathered a record number of awards. It has released DLCs in the last one year and is expected to add further this February. Although the news is expected to be confirmed by Sony at any time, for now, one has to await another month for the package.

The pricing is a bit hefty at $14.99 but is expected to be worthy considering the previous releases from the company. The DLC titled Left Behind focuses on the prequel to The Last of Us featuring the two girls, Ellie and Riley who would fight it out with the creatures in the disease-affected region.
