The Christmas Eve Movie Fun Gets Spoiled As Netflix Services Get Disrupted

Netflix Services are finally up and good to go.

Netflix video streaming services were hit badly on Christmas Eve spoiling the holiday season for Netflix users around the world.

The video rental company blamed Amazon web services for the outage.

The blackout infuriated Netflix customers in the countries like Canada, Latin America and the United States.

Joris Evers of Netflix said that even devices like Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3 to Blu-ray DVD players were affected by the Netflix disruption.

Based out of Los Gatos, California has 30 million subscribers to its credit out of which 27 million people belong to American region

Evers said the issue was the result of an outage at an Amazon Web Services’ cloud computing center in Virginia and started at about 12:30 p.m. PST (2030 GMT) on Monday and was fully restored before 8:00 a.m. PST Tuesday morning, although streaming was available for most users by 11:00 p.m. PST on Monday.
