Yet another powerful gadget gets unveiled at CES 2013, this time it is HP’s U160. U160 is a 15.6-inch monitor which gives portability a whole new meaning. The monitor could be connected to laptops via USB and there is a foldable carrying case which could be converted into a stand.
The portable monitor sports a 15.6 –inch screen with a 1366 x 768. Slightly on a heavier side this monitor weighs 3.4 pounds and is 1.2 –inches thick. The brightness and contrast level is as good as an average notebook. The monitor would hit the shelves in January for $179 (Rs 9,700).
The monitor could be a great accompaniment while giving presentation or while having a fun movie time with friends. HP was expected to reveal the portable monitor at CES 2103 and its first stint at portability has not gone unnoticed.
