Tech in 2014:Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Vs Sony Xperia Z 2 Vs iPhone 6

The tech industry is getting more exciting with every passing year as new technological inventions enable users to do various stuff that were once thought to be impossible.

The year 2013 witnessed how smartphones and tables have gnawed away at the dwindling PC market, even as thinner and lighter products that do not compromise with the immense power of PCs foraying into the market and emerging as the new benchmark in the industry. Innovative AV standards like  4K has become quite popular and on the other hand, cloud storage is gradually phasing out its physical contemporary as we are moving towards a future that will be dominated by the digital age.

As 2013 draws to a close and we are all set to welcome 2014, there some exciting and interesting developments lined up in the technology industry. The year 2013 saw large-screen  sleek Android phones like Samsung Galaxy Note and Sony Xperia Z 2 Ultra, prove one definite thing that there is a huge market for such devices.

However, the smartphone segment has never demonstrated or justified the concept of one size fits all. There are several indications that Apple’s Tim Cook might be seriously thinking of embracing the new trend of big screen devices.

What poses as a severe threat to iOS range from Apple is the immensely popular Galaxy series from Samsung. The build quality of Galaxy series devices is probably the only department where they lag behind from Apple. So far, the South Korean handset maker has made its flagship phones in feeble polycarbonate. However, if reports are anything to go by, then this is set for a major overhaul in the year 2014. 

The Windows Phone OS has come of age and now is a strong contender to Android and Apple iOS.
