According to reports by Phone Review, Samsung Galaxy S3 is not going to receive the Android 4.3 Jellybean update. Also it has been reported that Samsung is not considering Galaxy Note 2 for any kind of upgrade.
Android 4.3 Jellybean update was rolled out by Samsung earlier this week. However, Galaxy S3 users encountered problems in updating their phones to the new OS which led the company to pull out the update.
The update has brought a whole lot of enhancements like Galaxy Gear smartwatch, Samsung KNOX for added security, features from Samsung Galaxy S4 to Samsung Galaxy S3. There are a lot of users who are definitely enjoying these features but some have complained about multitude of issues which has rose from the new software.
According to Phonereview.com, “The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 first hit the U.K. yesterday and it was available for the unlocked version of the device via an Over the Air update. The OS upgrade was rolled out in various regions but users are hit with issues that the update has been pulled out and the upgrade for Note 2 was delayed.”
The most pressing issue of the Jellybean update is the draining of battery life. On many forums users have complained about the massive battery drain out caused by Android 4.3 Jelly bean update.

Samsung has confirmed that the official 4.3 Android Jelly Bean firmware for Galaxy S3 will be released before the end of the year 2013.

The Galaxy S4, some time ago, already received the 4.3 Android Jelly Bean update which clearly suggests that Galaxy S3 owners can expect the Jelly Bean anytime soon. The Android 4.3 update will be packed with some exciting features which are sure to spellbound users.
SamMobile has reported that both the GTO19505 and the S4-GT-19500 have received the 4.3 Android Jelly Bean update. There are several features and changes that the new firmware has brought for both the devices. Experts are claiming that majority of these features will also be seen on the Galaxy S3 once it receives the 4.3 Android Jelly Bean firmware update.
Some of the goodies included in the 4.3 Android Jelly Bean update include OpenGL ES 3.0, Bluetooth Low Energy, enhanced dialer, Virtual Surround Sound, enhanced text input on the virtual keyboard and several more features. Samsung seems to have modified few of these features using their home-grown firmware. Samsung Galaxy Gear Support was previously a restricted application which only can be installed on Note 3. However, with Android 4.3, even Galaxy S4 will get the gear support.
