Google Nexus 7 made its mark last year in the tablet space and was applauded for its affordable price and great features.  Now as we enter the year 2013 we are greeted by Samsung’s lethal offering in the affordable tablet market space, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.

Note 8.0 is coming with S-pen in its tow and easy to maneuver design (yes easier than Google nexus 7)

Google Nexus 7 sports a 7-inch screen and as the name has it Note 8.0 comes with 8 –inch screen which makes it a great device for reading. Both the tablets have 800X 1280 pixel density and thanks to its small size Nexus 7 screen looks sharper and brighter.

Text and pictures are more close to reality on Nexus 7 but when it comes to reading in bright and dim light than Galaxy Note 8.0 wins.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Vs Google Nexus 7 Vs iPad Mini: Pricing Is The Key

 

The speculation is rife that Samsung is all set to launch three tablets by the first half of this year.  There will be a 7- inch tablet which will be priced at $149-$199 and same configuration will be adapted in the form of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.

There are also rumors about a 8-inch tablet which would be priced at $249-229. This 8-inch offering from Samsung would be equipped with a Stylus  and would give head to head competition to iPad mini $329 and Google Nexus 7 price at $299
