Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has been leaked many times on the internet and may launch in end of March in Europe. It is also being heard that its price would be dearer to Apple iPad Mini. The news regarding the price of the tablet has come from Bulgaria where local retailer Tablet.bg.
The Wi-Fi version of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 would be priced at $699 and is rumored to have 1,280 x 800-pixel display which is more than ,1024 x 768-pixel display of iPad mini. The 3G capable version of Note 8.0 would be priced at $449. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 would also come equipped with S-pen.

Even before Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Note 8.0, its leaked images have surfaced on the net. And looks like it’s a direct competitor to Apple’s much talked about iPad Mini. While the iPad Mini has a 7.90-inch display with a resolution of 1024X768 pixels, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 has a slightly bigger 8-inch screen with a 1280X800 pixel resolution.
From the leaked images, we can see that this device is powered by a 1.66 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM, making it more powerful than the iPad Mini. Its design has striking similarities with the Galaxy Tab 2 and the Galaxy Note 10.1, and with its 8-inch screen, it seems to fit in perfectly in the middle between these two devices. It’s also got S-Pen capabilities and has a slot for it in the back of the device.
Now, one thing that surprised us is the lack of LTE connectivity – apparently, the Galaxy Note 8.0 will work only on 3G networks, which could be a bit of a downer. Running on the latest Android Jelly Bean version, we’re expecting it to be priced quite competitively, a huge advantage over the rather pricey iPad Mini. Hopefully, we can expect Samsung to unveil the Galaxy Note 8.0 officially during the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013 to be held at Barcelona in February.… Read the rest
