Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Vs Sony Togari Vs Asus Fone Pad 7: Sony Is Back With A Bang And Its Phablet This Time

Sony is back with a bang—and a big one this time! After the recent launch of the Xperia Z, the tycoon has already announced the Xperia SP and L and is now waiting to release three more smart phones in a row.

This dynamism in the rate of production from the House of Sony depicts the current industry trends. As per reports from Android Authority, Sony is already working hard for the timely launch of the phablet known as the “Togari” and two more models dubbed as the Xperia A and the Xperia UL.

It is indeed heartening to see the screen size of the phablets being revised upwards with every new launch. The crown for the largest screen is being held by Asus FonePad’s 7-inch display. Togari will mark Sony’s entrance into the world of phablets.

Well, Xperia Z’s screen already boasts of a size of 5 inches and the Togari is expected to measure 6.4 inches – showcasing itself as the largest phablet in the world. This will sweep aside the competition presented by Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 (5.9 inches) and Huawei’s Ascend Mate (6.1 inches). The Togari is supposed to have 3GB of RAM, a 2-megapixel front camera, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 3500mAh battery.

It remains to be seen whether phone makers will go with the trend of increasing screen sizes in their “phablets”—thus wiping out the distinction between tablets and smart phones, or continue to categorize their devices separately.
