Sony Xperia ZU Vs Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Compelling Consumers to Take A Tough Decision

With the official unveiling of Xperia Z Ultra or Togari by Sony, a battle has begun in the phablet world compelling consumers to think and choose.

Sony introduced the ZU officially at an event held in China. The all new 6.4 inches Xperia Z Ultra Triluminous screen has 1080p resolution with 344 ppi pixel density with Sony’s OptiContrast and X-Reality tech.

Along with new Snapdragon 800 chipset and a powerful Adreno 330 GPU, the ZU becomes the first device by Sony to carry 800 chipset and a quad-core Krait 400 processor clocked at 2.2GHz.

The Ultra also packs Sony’s proprietary WALKMAN player with ClearAudio+, xLOUD enhancements and an 8 megapixel rear shooter. 4G LTE connectivity, 4.2.2 version of Android Jelly Bean OS and the use of standard pen or pencil as a stylus make the device all the more wanted in the buyers’ list.

Furthermore, the rumored specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are expected to be 6.3-inch Full HD screen display with unbreakable and flexible screen, 16 megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and BSI and 3 megapixel front camera with ‘Best Photo,’ ‘Best Faces,’ low light show and BSI, 8-core Exynos 5 Octa processor chip, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS, 32, 64 and 128 GB internal memory options expandable storage via microSD cards, 4,000 mAh Li-on battery and a stylus with finger hovering feature.

With the announcement of the Note 3 on the annual IFA event in Berlin or in the third quarter of this year, Samsung is supposed to complete the tried-and-tested September product cycle of the Galaxy Note series and maximize its profits as well.… Read the rest

Samsung Galaxy S4 To Come in April, Galaxy Note III To Hatch By The End Of 2013

According to Strategy Analyst Samsung would be a tough nut to crack in the year 2013. Samsung has dominated the Smartphone market being the top seller of low-end and high-end devices. After creating quite a stir in market with Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note2, the Korean Company is set to launch the Samsung Galaxy S IV in April and the Samsung GALAXY Note III sometime in 2013 and both the phones are going to put Samsung on a much higher pedestal as compared to Apple.

It is being predicted that Samsung is going to sell 290 million smartphones this year which is 35% more as compared to last year. Meanwhile Apple would be selling 180 million units of in 2013 i.e. 33% more phones as compared to 2012.
