So, now for just $35, you can pick up a Raspberry Pi mini-computer. It’s a credit card sized computer that you can plug into your TV and keyboard and use it as an ordinary desktop to edit documents and spreadsheets, and even play games. And the coolest thing? This little device can even playback HD videos.
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a UK-based charity, founded by Eben Upton, who also is the chip designer for this marvelous device. It’s targeted at developing countries, with the vision to make computing affordable and available to the masses, and introduce computers to school children as well.
