After Nokia Lumia 925 and 928 With 41-Megapixel Pure View Nokia EOS, The Former Leader is Back With A Bang

After passing through the FCC with the codename RM-877, Nokia EOS is supposed to be the 41-megapixel PureView wonder and to be officially announced on July 11 at the Nokia press event. The smartphone with AT&T-compatible LTE bands would be camera-centric as per the tag line “Zoom Reinvented” of its invites.

However, the new FCC filing has not confirmed about the smartphone to be EOS instead it is listed as RM-877, but clues suggest that it would be the EOS. The entry in the filing clearly indicates that the device has been tested with a camera grip accessory confirming the same to be the EOS.

The FCC filing lists the smartphone to be exclusive for AT&T’s network just like the Lumia 928 for Verizon and the Lumia 925 for T-Mobile. It also reveals some of the features of the smartphone such as accession of quadband GSM and EDGE, dualband Wi-Fi, pentaband HSPA+ and WCDMA, Bluetooth and NFC. The smartphone will be 130.35mm x 71.4mm making it one millimeter taller and wider than the Lumia 925.

Some other features of the Windows Phone 8 device are expected to be a 4.5-inch 768 x 1280 AMOLED ClearBlack Display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, Xenon flash, LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/c/g/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, polycarbonate body and a non-removable 2000 mAh battery.

Wait till Nokia’s event on July 11 to know how exactly it looks like.
